<p>Who doesn&#8217;t like a finger licking good, gooey fudgy brownie experience right? Well, my kid doesn&#8217;t! At least not yet! Whereas her parents, we, are die hard chocoholics! But I am serious when I say these are the best moist brownie recipe!</p>
<p>Choosing a favorite brownie is like choosing a favorite <a href="https://www.delishbuzz.com/flatbread-pizza/">pizza</a>. Everyone has a favorite kind of brownie it is either fudgy or cakey with or without nuts. I love both kinds. But I lean toward fudgy types! Here is my own version of fudgy homemade chocolate brownies! After, what seemed like tens of thousand brownie making attempts, I ended up loving these homemade chewy fudgy chocolate brownies.</p>

<h4>Somethings to note about this recipe:</h4>
<ul>
<li>I promise you won&#8217;t try another store bought brownie from a box after trying these!</li>
<li>I highly recommend using a hand mixer for this recipe. This brownie batter is pretty thick and it is very important to aerate it after the addition of eggs.</li>
<li>Unlike other recipes, you don&#8217;t need to use a double boiler in this recipe. These are homemade chewy fudgy brownies with cocoa powder. Yay! Yes, this is one of the easiest brownies recipe ever!</li>
<li>In a scale of 1-10 of fudginess and chewiness, these brownies are 10 in my book. But you want even more fudginess (more than what it is now), take out the baking pan half way through the baking and gently tap on your kitchen counter. Then put it back in the oven and finish baking. This method inflate your brownies and makes it FUDGIER!</li>
<li>If you want the fudgiest brownies you can STOP BAKING AT 30min. Brownie will be cooked and it will be a very soft ever so fudgy brownie!</li>
<li>If you want a brownie that is CHEWY AND FUDGY brownie then bake this for 45min (We prefer this version).</li>
<li>Adding a tiny bit of espresso powder in the batter will in fact enhance the flavors of chocolate even more!</li>
<li>Feel free to add nuts to this recipe if you would like that. I omitted that just to keep these fudgy fudgy!.</li>
<li>The best part of this brownie is how easy it is to make. In fact, prep time is literally ten minutes or less.</li>

Let the butter melt slowly. Note: Melting butter on low heat helps you to get to work soon after you melt it. Melted butter that's too hot will cook the egg and it won't be a good brownie plus it takes too long to cool the butter.<br></span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-3324-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">Transfer the butter to a medium sized bowl. Add cocoa and sugar to melted butter. Mix JUST till everything is combined without leaving any white streaks. Do not over mix after the addition of flour and other dry ingredients. <br></span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-3324-step-0-5" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">Using a spatula wipe the batter into a 8inch x 8inch pan (oiled and lined with parchment paper. ) and level the top with the spatula. <br></span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-3324-step-0-6" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;"><span style="display: block;">Brownies are done when the center of the brownies is set and does not jiggle. You can stop at 30mins if you want a very soft and fudgy brownie. We baked it for 45 mins and it was so chewy and fudgy! I prefer a chewy, fudgy version! Unlike a cake, when these brownie are cooked, a knife or toothpick inserted will not come out completely clean. This just mean that brownies are extra fudgy. <br></span></div></li></ul></div></div>

<p>A friend of mine, Eszter who is a self made professional chef  introduced me to fruit pizza concept. I was like, what!? I had no idea that this was a thing! And as I heard more and more about it, it made so much sense!. Strawberries on a soft crust with creamy frosting? There is no reason, not to love it!</p>

<p>I associate summer with fruit desserts easily. Almost 25 years ago now, I spent couple of Summers in Germany. My mom used to leave for work after giving me couple of baskets of ripe, vibrant strawberries. I used to dip them in sugar and eat them like &#8216;I was left starving for days&#8217;. Those days are still very bright in my memories wrapped in the scent of ripe strawberries. Ever since, anything strawberry and strawberry related stops my heart. The smell of ripe strawberries when you walk into a market makes me do things I don&#8217;t want to! Like buying way too many strawberries!. Developing recipes with strawberries are very easy as well. Not only they are delicious they are amazing subject for any food photography!. Ever since I have seen this <a href="http://www.deliciousdays.com/archives/2006/06/06/strawberry-fields-forever/"><em><span style="color: #800000;">blog post</span></em></a>, I knew strawberry desserts are so perfect for food photography.</p>
<h4>Creating Core Recipes For Delish Buzz</h4>
<p>As Delish Buzz is a brand new site, I am trying to have some recipes that are tweaked to work for my needs. Recipes that can serve as foundation for the recipes to come in the future on this site. Hence, this is a gluten free recipe. I prefer my desserts gluten free, if possible. However good gluten free recipes are hard to come by. No doubt, there are millions of recipes out there. However, I had hard time finding a gluten free sugar cookie recipe that can hold fruit pizza layers. After making a trillion of test batches of cookies I finally found a combination of ingredients that worked good for my version of strawberry pizza.</p>

And make sure to leave room for pistachios and dark chocolate in between the strawberry arrays (See notes).  Glaze the strawberry pizza using the apricot glaze. <li>The gluten free crust is very soft soon after it is baked. Allow it to rest and cool for an hour before topping the pizza.</li>
<li>I found that coconut oil is much better for oiling the pizza pan. It made it easier to release the crust from the aluminum foil.</li>
<li>It is easier to glaze the strawberries first and then to sprinkle on the pistachios and chopped dark chocolate.</li>
<li>Measuring an egg might be a new concept to some. But to measure, crack it open, whisk it then pour it on to the measuring spoon. Like me, don't try it scoop it up in the spoon!. That was a miserable fail!.</li>

<p>This is an easy recipe for banana fritters and they will disappear in 60 seconds or less I promise! I took this exotic treat a bit further and jazzed it with caramel and chocolate rum sauce.</p>

<li>Some versions of this use plantains. I used regular bananas here because it is easily available and due to its bold flavor.</li>
<li>I added turmeric and sugar to the batter for getting the glorious bright gold colors of caramelization when fritters are fried.</li>
<li>Cinnamon adds an extra depth to this recipe. With dark chocolate sauce this is a divine treat.</li>
<li>Firm bananas are stuffed with vegan caramel chews. The soft melted caramel is an additional layer of richness.</li>
<li>I neither used any eggs (to keep this simple,vegan and you just don&#8217;t need it! These are rich and delicious even without eggs.) or any rising agents like baking soda here.</li>
<li>Additionally, though these are called fritters, we are not deep frying them in this recipe.

<p>I am crazy about this simple banana fritters. I always loved the combinations of chocolate and bananas! Then again, to me almost anything goes well with chocolate! No difficulties or confusion there.</p>
<h4>Good Old Days:</h4>

The whole house was filled with the smell of banana frying in coconut oil.  So these are glued to my childhood memories. Whenever I miss my grandma and those good old days, I make these. In fact, to tell the truth, it happens every week. Nowadays, I usually sit back and sip my black tea with banana fritters, filling up the room with aromas of this complete comfort food. This recipe is like the quickest time-space portal that takes me back to a very warm and cozy place of comfort of my childhood. Those days treats were simple and rare.</p>

<h4>My Version:</h4>
<p>To tell the truth, frankly, I never had banana fritters combined with cinnamon, chocolate, caramel and rum! Caramel somehow goes along with cinnamon in my mind. And the chocoholic in me, came up with this idea after eating churros.  These royal ingredients together, create an exotic treat for sure. As you can see, I surely am addicted to food!</p>
<p>Banana fritter batter I used here, browns to a golden yellow color because of the added turmeric and sugar to the batter. The sugar with cinnamon caramelizes the batter to a slightly crispy divine shell with all the goodness inside. The bananas are filled with some vegan caramel chews (Yes, let us take it to the next level.). It melts inside the crispy exterior and creates an intense flavor combination with the dark chocolate dipping sauce. Dark chocolate, the rich dark kind works well with this recipe giving the sweetness of melted caramel a contrast. Dark chocolate with rum creates a very glossy sauce that coats these vegan banana fritters perfectly.</p>

<li>Bananas must be firm. It is hard to stuff bananas if they are too ripe and soft. Any varieties of bananas or plantains can be used here if they are available.</li>
<li>Caution: Do not reach for these fritters while they are hot. Bananas can reach extremely high temperatures when you fry them covered in batter. Steam from these babies can burn you in seconds. Let them cool first.</li>
